The Mariners sermon team begins by researching the Bible passage that will be the focus of the message. They read commentaries, consult with other pastors, and pray about the message.

Once the sermon team has a good understanding of the passage, they begin to develop the message. They write an outline, create illustrations, and practice delivering the message.

Message Delivery

The sermon team delivers the message on Sunday mornings at all of the Mariners locations. They use a variety of teaching methods, including preaching, storytelling, and humor.
