Jacoby Jones, a former wide receiver and kick returner with the Baltimore Ravens, Houston Texans, and other NFL teams, has died at the age of 40. The NFL Players Association and the Baltimore Ravens confirmed the news of Jones' death on Sunday.

Jones, who played in the NFL for 13 seasons, is best remembered for his record-breaking 108-yard kickoff return touchdown in Super Bowl XLVII. The play helped the Ravens defeat the San Francisco 49ers and secure their second Super Bowl victory.

Jones also had a successful career in college, playing for the Vanderbilt Commodores. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2021.
