Connect your iPhone to Wi-Fi

1. Go to Settings > Wi-Fi and turn on Wi-Fi.
2. Tap one of the following:
• A network name: If you see a lock next to the network name, it's password-protected. You'll need to enter the password when you connect.
• Other: Enter the name of a hidden network and tap Join.

Connect your iPhone to the internet using an available Wi-Fi or cellular network

Change your data connection in Settings.

Connecting your iPhone or iPad to Wi-Fi not only gives you access to the internet and all its glory, it also saves you from potentially high data charges from your cellular provider.
